I was going to say Elvis, but thinking in terms of the current generation, Michael Jackson would most likely be more recognized imho.

Are you kidding? If I were shown a line up of a monkey, an alien, and michael jackson I wouldn't be able to pick him out!

LOL, yeah that is for sure. Although I don't know of any famous musical aliens/monkeys so that freakshow takes the cake there.

Michael Jackson is pretty famous. What a sad, sad world we live in, where one of the most famous people is a neither black nor white, neither man nor woman, and is a child molesting freak. Also not a fan of his music. The jackson 5 was alright, but after he went solo, i think he sucked. One or two catchy songs, but thats about it.

I'm sure you would agree that his reign is over which begs the question: who is the NEW King of Pop?

Morrissey of course... was that too obvious?

honestly, there is no one comparable to Michael Jackson today [or ever really]. im sure Justin Timberlake would spring to mind for many but we all know thats a bloody joke. its like saying, "well, Elvis is long dead so who is the current King Of Rock N Roll?" the answer is still "Elvis". the answer to your question is still "Michael Jackson".
