About the NIN/sharon tate house thing. The album was The Downward Spiral. Broken is not considered a follow-up to PHM since it's an ep not a full album :/

I know on the one NIN Tape (Closure) there is a video of them recording a song in that house. Marilyn Manson is there too. Im almost positive it is off Broken (wish I had the video). I know Broken is just an EP but its still an album and it still followed Pretty Hate Machine.

This first one is pretty well known to Doors fans..

Mr Mojo Risin is an anagram of Jim Morrison

Pete Townshend got his trademark windmill playing of the guitar from Keith Richards. He saw Richards doing it once and copied it. Keith being himself, never remembered doing it when Pete told him he stole it from him.

i seem to remember hearing that one too. richards was warming up and stretching his arms before a performance and accidentally strummed his guitar while swinging his arm. townsend happened to be able to be in the crowd and the rest is history...

eddie van halen said he got the initial inspiration for his two-hand tapping technique from seeing a led zeppelin show. page was tapping notes 12 frets higher up on the neck to sound harmonics for single notes and eddie just decided to take it a little further
