recommend a beat-making programme?

can anyone recomend me a nice program to make beats with?

i've tried fruity loops but i find it to ......something. doesnt fit me me thinks

anyone else that makes beats good any good ones ?

Pro tools in my opinion is REALLY over-rated. It was the king back in the day when it came with specific hardware, but in my opinion those days are gone.

I use Logic for everything and I no doubt will do until something better comes along.

The only thing that makes beats good is making a good beat. That doesn't happen straight away, it takes practice.
