I have never heard a johnny cash song that I REALLY disliked. My favorite would be Boy Named Sue followed by Fulsome Prison Blues (hope i spelled fulsome right).

I think the covers he does on the American albums are phenomenal. And my personal favorite at the moment is First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.

Sunday Morning Coming Down <--- I think this is Kris Kristofferson's lyrics but Cash put his stamp on it. Although it's hard to nail it down to one song for such a prolific singer/songwriter.

My bad, didn't know he didn't write that song. But I do go by that thinking.. if he didn't write it then it's not a Johnny Cash song, it's a cover song. I like his cover songs too.
