Whats the best 20gig plus mp3 player?
If I work 2 more nights I will be able to afford most mp3 players and i'm wondering which is the best 20 gig plus player on the market?

I remember on the screen savers (a techtv talk show) they did a WWF style showdown between mp3 players. first round....ipod wins....second...ipod...third...ipod....until ipod won agains sony, dell, and all the others.

As an alternative - try the Creative Nomad Zen Jukebox
+ves over the ipod - 30GB intsead of 20, cheaper, removeable battery, something diferent
-ves over ipod - Not as cool
I used to have an ipod but replaced it for the jukebox.The design may not be quite as fashionable but it is a better unit in my opinion.

I will be purchasing a Dell Jukebox 20Gb tommorrow.
20Gb, $250, holds up to 10,000 songs as apossed to the Ipod 20Gb which can hold only 5,000.

They base that off of a 4-minute song at 128 bitrate. It doesn't matter which 20 GB device you get, in terms of the actual number of songs. Virtually all of my MP3's are 192 and higher; I wouldn't get anywhere near the number of songs the companies suggest you should get.
