Soul and Northern Soul
Alot of the third wave ska labels (the worthwhile ones, anyway) also published Northern Soul in particular during its brief "revival", and i got to say some of it is pretty awesome, and the old soul too is excellent. Anyone agree with that?

Most soul kicks ass. Alot of the Northern soul stuff was good because it was a little bit dirtier than the Motown/Atlantic stuff. A lil more funky.......
