I have a (for me) tricky question about a lost song... Hope someone can help.
Here's the story, I'll let you decide which clues are clues, and what's just nonsense.
The song was on a cassette tape, maybe in the middle of the 80's. On one side of the cassette was Simple Minds, I recall one the songs being "Don't you forget about me".
The song I'm looking for was on the other side (!)...
The song begun (as I remember it) with a long mighty bass tone, changing in a mighty way for a while. A dark voice (like the movie trailer speaker) speaks (I remember reverb) something like: "Many years ago...when the world was young..." and then he went on for a while... And then, the song started.
I think I remember a keyboard riff in the chorus (possibly with sus-chord-changing).
This may seem like an under-influence-of-some-weird-drug-story, but I was probably just 10-15 years old, so please be kind to me...
)If anyone has a clue, I would be most grateful if you let me share it...
Regards,
Martin, Gothenburg, Sweden
PS. During the intro, I visualized fire, volcanos, rain and chaos... Then something about mankind... DS.
