Isolating vocals and beats
I wasnt sure what to search for, but this has probably been asked before. Using what program, can I isolate the vocals to a song, or the beat, or other sounds? I want to turn the volume down on all sounds, except for example the vocals to a song, so that you can only hear the vocals, and then I can put them in with another piece of sound. This can be done, right? If anyone can help me out, please do. Thanks.

You can either spend hours and hours with gates/compressors/eq's, OR, I believe the 'Resources' forum has links to programs that can do all this for you.

It's never completely possible, but you can do it a bit with things like phase cancellation.
