Mikael Akerfeldt gore metal?

I hope I got the name right. Anyway, I heard Mikael and members of Katatonia have a gore metal band. What is the name of the band? Mikael Akerfeldt is one of my favorite vocalists and I would love to hear his talent with a more brutal band. However I don't know the name. If someone knows the name please tell me.

The band is called Bloodbath, it also features the singer of Hypocrisy.

Oh, btw www.metal-archives.com anything you ever need to know about a real metal band can be found there.

Arkerfeldt isnt on the upcoming Bloodbath release though.

He's on Resurrection Through Carnage and Breeding Death, but theres been a line up change for this new one. Swano has moved from drums to guitar, being replaced by Martin “Axe Axenrot. Replacing Mikael is Peter Tägtgren.

Anders "Blakkheim" Nyströms guitar alone on the last two releases sounded like a fucken mammothised chainsaw, two of 'em is going to be interesting.

I checked out the released track from the new album, and while its good, the new vocals just dont have the same balls Mikael's did.

Instrumentaly theres a little more tremolo melody-ing, and all round riff changing and variation in the drums, though not devoid of that Bloodbath sound. Just not as chuggy as before, and without the "ROAR I AM MIKAEL FUCKING ARKERFELDT".

Still good, just minus some of the extra "BOOM" of yore.
