If you think EP7 (which is more like an LP) is highly unlistenable, check out Confield...

Ive got pretty much everything Autechre have released, but i really prefer their early stuff up to Tri repeat.
I buy every new album in the hope i might hear some nice melodies and tunes, like the old days.Oh well.

Yeah, they just don't do that kind of thing any more, but there are people who do who are very good.

in addition, their material has always evolved. if anyone was making anything new, they were.

There are tons of melodies in the "new" autechre stuff as well. It's not like they use only beats.

Lordy. What a thing to say. You'd get dragged out and beat up in some places for saying that.

, that's coming from someone that probably just got into listening to electronic music and doesn't look at all the factors in making an album of that calibur.

I wouldn't think someone would be "dragged out" , but I can see why people would be mad

autechre vs aphex twin...what the F is that? how points are scored for this one...?

drawing comparisons is stupid when you have no parameters. and even if you have them comparisons are stupid.

this is very inmature and nahive, are you guys expecting to elect a legin winner...?

are you morons thinking that there is actually someone "better" between this two...?

get a life
