well if I go, it will have to be alone as I don't think I could persuade someone to come along with me... but I'll think about it...

orpheus, I went to see EN alone 2 times. it is gonna be a very special experience if you go. I promise.

you probably will see tons of home-made instruments along with a guitar and power tools. all of their percussive instruments are either made with plastic canisters or metal sheets. they probably have some sound installations there are well.

Wish I could afford to get down to London to see them. It sucks living in the middle of nowhere.

Has everyone here heard the new album? What do you all think of it? In my opinion, it's the best thing they've released since Tabula Rasa, or Haus Der Luge, they really seem to have found a unique sound again.

I'm quite fond of "Perpetuum Mobile" . Each time I listen to it , it sounds even better . I could do without Youme & Meyou though .'
My favourites are Ich gehe jetzt ; Ein leichtes leises Säuseln ; Selbsportrait mit Kater ; Ein seltener Vogel ; Paradiesseits & Ozean und Brandung .

Edit : I've come to the conclusion , that it would be a perfect release , if it wasn't for that one track . I actually don't hate Youme & Meyou . I just find it boring & think it sounds sort of radio friendly .

Ein leichtes leises Säuseln is probably my favourite song off the album, you just don't expect Neubauten to be so, well, mellow, do you?

"Youme & Meyou" might not be great, but EN have a habit of putting at least one dodgy song on an album, how about the appalling "The Garden" on Ende Neu. Completely ruins the album for me.

I love the Garden! I think it is a great song! yes, even my father thought it was an interesting song but I still love it!

I think what happened to EN is that they polished off their sharp pointy edges and get them round and sharp. sure, they don't bang and pound everything you can get in a hardware store in your face, but it still has its intensity.

My dad used to kill me with his comments about Neubauten, "Huh! Just sounds like they're bashing dustbin lids to me". "Well, as it happens..."

It is the most mellow , even more so than Silence is Sexy . I still find it very enjoyable regardless . Ein leichtes leises Säuseln is definitely a great track !

I usually like their ''dodgy'' songs , but I can't really get into this one . I don't mind The Garden , It's not that bad .
