There really isn't much talking. I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but it is cool to watch. I would assume if there was talking it would be in German, it is a German video.

Merzbow is one of the only genuinely great NOISE artists. Even so, he's not really my bag. I like some of his material.

Several years ago the guy from Australia's Extreme Records was going to put out a 50 CD BOXED SET of Merzbow!

He lost everything. Extreme went down in flames. I also heard he lost his house, his car, and went personally bankrupt, too. Maybe that's just rumor. Extreme put out some great stuff, but some of their artists, such as the late Muslimgauze griped about not getting paid!

yeah, the Merzbox was released and I couldn't believe people were actually paying 500 dollars for a 50 cd box set of NOISE. I did like some of the releases on Extreme though, like the Maju 1, 2, and 3 albums. Also, another Australian label Dorobo is still around. It's manned by Darrin Verhagen aka Shinjuku Thief/Shinjuku Filth. Good label, check it out.

Oh yeah, I liked "The Scribbler," and "Bloody Tourist." So both Shinjukus are the same guy? I wondered about that. I don't much else from Dorobo.

They also released "Laughing Hands," a group Paul Schutze was in early on. I recommend that one if you can find it, it's got their two LPs, "Ledge" and "Dog Photos."

Another great artist on Extreme was "Fetisch Park." I know Carla Subito killed the name "Fetisch Park," but I don't know if she's done any projects lately. Do you?

Social interiors was great, too.

yeah, both Shinjuku's are the same guy...I haven't heard any more from Carla, so I highly doubt it.

I like the Black Lung and Alan Lamb releases on Dorobo...good stuff.
