I don't mean to be rude, but I doubt many people here(I'm sure there's a few) have even heard a Dio-era Sabbath song. Trust me, Ozzy isn't even in the same league as Dio. But with that being said, I think Ozzy-era Sabbath had the better songs.

Tough decision, but the way the topic is worded, it's vocalist vs. vocalist so Dio wins hands down, no contest.

I like Dio and all but Sabbath isn't his band so to speak.

I don't think Ozzy is black sabbath I think Tony Iommi is.

I think the Dio stuff is great, almost in the same class of greatness as the ozzy stuff. However like I said I prefer the ozzy albums.

neon knights could quite possibly be my favorite bs song and its got dio on vocals. Heaven and Hell is pretty bad ass too.
