Abbey Road or the White Album was the hardest choice for me this time around. The others were still pretty easy.

Hard choices in two of these. The sprawl of The White Album is part of its charm to some; I tend to think it would have been better as a single album, with a large chunk of the tracks left over turning up on the second side of YELLOW SUBMARINE, a la HELP! and A HARD DAY'S NIGHT in the UK. ABBEY ROAD is simply a marvel in craftsmanship, and gets my vote in a close battle.

And SGT. PEPPER wins over AHDN, but not without a struggle.

Only Rubber Soul v MMT gave me pause for thought. But, great though many songs are on MMT, it lacks a unity that Rubber Soul has. I wonder why that would be?
