What happened to all the Coldcut fans? EH! WHAT THE FUCK!
Ranting about how shitty Portishead and fatso deluxe, and Massive attack is, got me nostalgic about the halcyon days of Coldcut. Let us play should be in the canon of any well rounded electronic fan (Music 4 no musicians is a bonafide classic), and other later releases were heat (especially the Autumn Leaves / MMM remix). Not to mention Solid Steel, which set thang right in the world of breakbeat music for many many years. Dont forget that they innovated the idea of A/V mixing with visuals at their shows, and algorithmic sound-source visuals. So much history. So much fucking history and people dont even know!
