I totally love "how to Disappear Completely and never be found"!!
For my taste the best track on Kid A

"Life in a glass house" from Amnesiac
"Street Spirit" from The Bends
"Where I end you begin" from Hail to the thief
are other "depressing" songs from Radiohead, as you put it.

Ok, the deal in here is that I tryed my best to translate a song from the spanish language, because otherwise most people won't get this song
Piero - Mi viejo

My “old man

It’s a good person my old man,
That lives “in constant waiting" and loneliness,
That feels great sadness
Because of going to much throug life

I watch him,
But we are so different,
because he grew in a different century
among tramways and red wine

Old man, my beloved old man
Now your walk is clumsy (dull)
Like as forgiving the wind
I’m your blood, my old man
I’m your silence and your time

He has good eyes
And a heavy figure,
The years have fallen over him
Without carnivals nor a procession

I’ve got my new years
And this man his years old
The pain delivers him inside
And has a story without a time

I’m your blood, old man
I’m your silence and your time...
______________________________

...now that is depressing ... either way your father or you, someday, are going to become that old man (even the ladies, you get my point)

Anything by Jeff Buckley. Not becasue all the music is that depressing in itself but because whenever i listen to jeff i start thinking wtf did he die. its so not fair. such talent gone to waste. and no one will ever see him live again.

A great album indeed. I really would have enjoyed hearing how he was going to follow up that album, but unfortunatley i never will.
