Best song to...

This thread is half-inspired by Lovage's "Music to make love to your old lady by". Alright, this is half-predictable but I'm curious about your responses.

Best song to:
1) ...make love to your old lady by
2) ...beat your sibling/s by
3) ...skin a cat by
4) ...ride a bike in the rain drunk by
5) ...sing loudly in the shower after a hard day's night by
6) ...knife your cheating, unloving, unloveable fiancee in their sleep by
7) ...save your life when you are surrounded by obnoxious Marketing girls by
8) ...have an athsma attack and all you can do is fantasise about the last 3 cigarettes in your pocket by

I can fully imagine beating my sister to Peter Brotzmann. I haven't heard Machine Gun, but I heard "More Nipples" and found it both charming and captivating. Previously, I thought Ike and Tina Turner's version of Stagger Lee would be excellent for beating a naughty sibling to, but I must say, that's a choice choice there Geoff, .

Have you heard Nick Cave's 'Murder Ballads'?

It has some pretty cruesome songs, included an even more disturbing version of 'Stagger Lee'.

Heh, I thoroughly enjoyed your selection there, sound affects. Particularly no.3, I can't even begin to explain how impossibly appropriate that is.

I quite like Nick Cave, although sometimes I feel he becomes a little gimmicky. Nick Cave and the Birthday Party are excellent though. The Birthday Party are great beating music in general don't you think? - not just siblings, but work colleagues, nuns, bus drivers, supermarket checkout chicks, random passerbyers...
