Trippy Sunshine;

Tracks 5 and 6 from Keiji Haino's Watashi Dake? album. NO idea of the track titles, but the most minimal guitar phrases on track 5 seamlessly erupting into this explosion of 'noise' on track 6! It sounds less like an electric guitar and more like him manipulating liquid electricity, harnessing the sound, then loosing it on 3 turntables simultaneously! Plus his stupendously shivery falsetto vocals... Mmmm.

Along with that I'd say nothing prepared me for 'Flash For Rotten Limit', track 1 on C.C.C.C.'s Flash album. Like a drill penetrating through sandblasting and chainsaws. Or trying to listen to your walkman while sitting next to the engine of a jet plane as it takes off.

In terms of Psychedelia itself I'll have to go with Brainticket's Cottonwoodhill opus!

No question... Emmerson, Lake and Palmer, Brain Salad Surgery.

Number 2 is probably the insane interlude in the middle of Jethro Tull's Passion Play

After that, Genesis' Fox Trot
Listened to Rush with Good News First
