I'm going with the norm and saying Led Zeppelin and The Who as well. But I think The Beatles were pretty solid players, great harmony and Rush are worth a mention. I thought everyone would be disputing The Who And Zep's prowess

The Band
Guns N Roses/Velvet Revolver
Led Zeppelin
Red Hot Chili Peppers [with Dave Navarro, save Anthony Kiedes who cant sing worth a lick]
Rush [save Geddy Lee's awful vocals]
U2 [save perhaps Adam Clayton, whos a decent bassist but nothing extraordinary]
The Who

Hm. The Pixies were pretty good. Frank Black or Black Francis or whatever the freak his name is, and Kim Deal. Anyone who looks good in short shorts and long socks is fine by me. Woah, Kim Deal.
