I think some are missing the point here... The singers in this poll have all received acclaim by some in the rock universe... And we are to pick our least favorite of these acclaimed singers...

Waters doesn't recieve universal acclaim... Some like his voice, but the majority agree he is not the best (or 2nd or 3rd, or maybe 4th) best singer in Pink Floyd...

Man there's a lot of singers on that list that I don't like. I hate the way Robert Plant interprets every song in the same cocky, fake and over-the-top way. I hate Eddie Vedders made-up voice - that sure as hell ain't his natural singing voice. And I really hate Chris Cornell for the same reasons as Robert Plant, just 10 times worse! But my vote goes to Ozzy Osbourne, I'll just let you imagine how much his voice gets to me.

Sure seems like a lot of people dislike Eddie Vedders voice... I find that so very interesting... Actually I don't find that surprising at all... His style is one of those that can really ruin a good song...

Sales have no value in my mind as to the worth of someones talent...

Will you say that Britany Spears is a great singer because she has sold millions of records???

Man NDF, that has to be the weakest argument you have ever made... You must be off today... (I guess the Democratic convention has you all nervous and stuff... Maybe you should take the week off and rest)...

Oh, here we go again with the 'record sales don't mean nuttin' argument!! Spare me! People don't listen to horrible vocalists, and vocals are what Pearl Jam is all about.

Sorry Eddie Vedder wasn't blonde, 18 years old, and had a nice rack and butt to boot, but he did have a kickass voice.

We all know why people listened to PJ, love of his vocals was the rule, and yes some loved the guitar work, but that's the exception not the rule.

Economics is not a completely bad measuring stick. What better or more objective way to measure the worth of a popular song than by it's..popularity? Anything else is personal opinion. I mean, we're not talking about Vincent Van Gogh here...the subject is "popular singers." Just think of each dollar as a vote!

Well it's a REALLY bad measuring stick when the poll asks for your personal least favorite =P.

90% of fans listen to PJ BECAUSE of Vedder's vocal stylings. I frequent PJ's fan website all the time and believe me, he is the undisputed center.
