My Burns Maquee

I got it from a friend for $600 (Australian) and he chucked in a practice amp and soft case with it. He got it for the same price but it costs (so he tells me) $1200 from the shops. The picture is not of my one but a pic i got from the burns website. My one's jet black and the white parts (what are they called?) are silvery marble coloured.

I don't really know much about guitars and my friend assured me that this was a good guitar... anyone?

can't really tell if the guitar is good without playing it... but basically if it feels good... sounds good... plays good... and makes you feel cool while you're playing it then it IS good... regardless of anything else...
