If you consider 1998 'early 90s', then sure, but 1998 isn't all that primitive for me (let's face it Aphex Twin had released 'Windowlicker' a year after).

So I'm still unsure, but I am listening to it more than I have, just to be sureI don't appreciate it

it actually came out in 1996, but I thought it came out closer to the dubnobass release back in 94'. It's cool though. Emerson just had his own style and created some of the best "techno" out there, along with Kenny Larkin.

Thumbs down Regretted purchasing...

Musica Elettronica Viva: The Sound Pool
heretofore had only heard of them referred to reverently as founding pioneers in live electronics. MEV fetured luminary modern composers Alvin Curran, Frederic Rzewski, and Richard Teitelbaum. I've heard excellent work by each one of these composers.
I bought "The Sound Pool,' live recording from 1969, from Forced Exposure, the 180 gm vinyl they brag about. Man, it was just a lot of discordant noise in muddy fidelity. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought it was a prank by The Fugs. I guess you really hadda be there at the "Happening," baby.
And who cares if the vinyl is 180 gm if the entire stylus moves in fish-tail motion because it's pressed so badly. Good grief, Charlie Brown! I donated the record to the electronic archives I'm building at my radio station.

hey Cage, how far down the road is Forced Exposure anyway? You can probably literally walk there to get your goods
