I totally agree. Nothing interesting or exciting about the whole thing, except for the cool packaging.

Venetian Snares - Huge Chrome etc....

It's not crap, but it's getting hard to sit through. Might grow on me but...

I think I got it in Warpmart... I forget. I get most stuff online now, but there is at least one great shop I know of here in Melbourne.

Have you heard any of this album though? It's seems he's treading water a bit, but still insane programming skills.

yeah, I have and I find it boring, as usual. But maybe i should try it again. The cover art is great though, I do like that part of it.

EDIT: Let me rephrase that. Most of his stuff seems to be the SAME, and that's why I called it boring. I do like the Chocolate Wheelchair album a lot though, but seem less impressed with the work on this album.

sense field - tonight and forever...

i realise it's a very shitty rock (emo?) album... and this is the electronic forum... but the disc had somehow ended up in the electronic section at the local music store one day... and i was feeling like something new and the cover grabbed my attention... i was hoping for sappy mellow electornica like air maybe with a little more ambient touches... talkie walkie would have better than this...

I read a review saying he ain't real digestible as a whole album artist and I tend to agree. Tracks on their own from him seem better and more interesting, as yeah, he churns out the same songs a lot...

Edit: I mean Vsnares...

The problem is that Aaron Funk has completely saturated the market. I only have a couple of his releases and in the last 4 years theoretically he should only have brought out 4 albums. If he had then people wouldn't be sick of him now.

Off the top of my head I can think of doll doll doll, chocolate wheelchair, chrome cylinder box, making orange things, printf, songs about my cat, glue funk hits, find candace, winter in the belly of a snake..

They're off the top of my head and that's 9 ALBUMS before you even get to EPs.

9 albums plus various EPs in 4 years.

Is it any wonder people get bored of VSnares.
