In guitar, we all know the modes. who do u think uses the phrygian mode the most.

in the 11 years i've been playing i've known modes exist... and i've read the names of the modes... but i still have no clue what the modes really are

I'm not one to play by the book, (probably because I can't read ) so I don't know what modes really are either. I have a slight Idea, but I'm not really sure.

yea pshycadellic man, no offense ya no but you can speak for youreslef!, i mean in guitar? i play guiat, my friend plays guitar, my other friend plays, but we all deffintly dont no modes i no 2 or 3 because major and minor scales are both 2 modes and i no a dorian, most people dont no much about them because they are very advanced scales and no one likes them lol they but they so hard, but so yea, any shredder guitarist who has no creativity and wants to make money buy getting usm young, depressed teenage boys attention plays a phrygian,(lol just beacuse, no it is over used buy those types of guitarist, but i dont mean to rag on alot of musicians who expertise modes and the phryigian and use in to express so much more than just shredding up and down it, i cant think of any guitar that use it the most right now but i deffingatley no a few i dont no metallica people, ok later
