what the hell makes you say that? the quotes that you brought show the complete opposite: stic. and M1 are two of the most intelligent, articulate and streetwise cats in the game. they are not affraid to deal with subjects that most rappers would never dare: education, religion, social rights, economy. and they are extremely literate about them as well.
although, I must say, i didn't care much about their latest "RBG" album, but I'm still looking forward to anything they release.

The quotes I posted show that they are some of the most intelligent in the game? Get real. At the beginning Dead Prez were all "cracker this, cracker that"... "white people have gold, why cant i have gold". That shit is just stupid. They are both stupid -- and what I mean by that is they are both incoherent, bumbling idiots. Their interviews are a testament.

No I've heard 'rock and roll'. You are too presumptious about what my opinions are, really. Look at the quotes; better yet, watch a live interview with them. You'll see how poorly they field questions, and how their music is reflective of it.

Think about what you are saying before you spout off a cliche'd diatribe. If I didnt care about afrocentric music, or didnt know about afrocentric music, why would I have cited Thieves In The Night as a good example of it? I obviously wouldn't have, if what you say is true. But it isnt.

actually, the "white people have gold, why cant i have gold" wasn't actually DP, it was some guy making a speech, but i get what you trying to say. they do seem racists themselves when theyre trying to promote equality. but then again, can you blame them? it's fucked up what the "white man" has done over the past years. next time i steal something, i'm gonna call it manifest destiny and see if i can get away with that shit. they take it a lil too far sometimes but i agree with just about everything they say, IMO.

i agree with deeguy, too. the RBG album was coo, but i think they were too worried about trying to prove their thug credibility...i still likeded it though.
