They're awesome dudes, incredibly nice and fun people. It's kinda weird seeing them as an underground band for so long and then changing into their present sound and finding their niche in pop music, but I back them 100%.

If you guys aren't a member of their message board, I suggest signing up. It's a ton of fun.

This is a terribly ignorant statement.

Black Sails is such an amazing album, especially when compared to 4-chord poppy, fast, boring punk. Let's not forget songs like "File 13" and "Brownie Bottom Sundae" or the entire Shut Your Mouth album. I'd say any of those could be the beginning of the "gay goth punk" thing you speak of.

Im starting to doubt Sing The Sorrow being bad. Im really starting to like it. But some of their old stuff is still better.

Well I understand why some fans might not like the last few albums, but I don't know why people say it's bad...because it's a lot more complex nowadays...

I can't stand the new AFI cd that my friends are forcing on me. I tried out Black Sails in Sunset and Shut Your Mouth and Open YOur Eyes. THat was much better than the new emo-ish crap.

Emo-ish? What the fuck are you even blabbing on about, kid? If you're gonna make fun of it, at least be close on the insults. Next time say something about getting of Robert Smith and Trent Reznor's nuts or something.
