Actually, as far as first album purchases go, maybe get the reissue "Cop/Young God/Greed/Holy Money" covering their first few releases, that'd probably be a good introduction.

I have two cds by Napalm Death - Scum (awesome) and Harmony, Corruption (pretty good too)
I love both of them but, is there a Napalm Death cd that I can get with better sound quality (that is still as good)?

In my opinion, you have the best ones right there. As the production got better, they lost me. Part of the charm of the best grindcore is shitty production to a certain degree IMO. Stuff like RIGHTEOUS PIGS etc.. has that touch of 80s hardcore punk to it like COC's "Animosity" and the SEPTIC DEATH stuff..... just part of the charm.

yeah yer right. And by the way i gave Heartwork a second chance. It is a great cd, my only problem with it is the vocals. Really good music though.

Yeah, I like most of the stuff Bill Steer has been involved in. Carcass, Napalm, even the first couple of Firebird albums are good....tho they are more 70s psych rock than death.

I got Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk by Emperor. That is some damn good stuff! but if it gets better I would like to know... not that one was bad, i like it alot, but if they have better music I would love to hear it.
