umm... its safe for me to say im one of those obsessive cure fans
ok well, i think their new album is awesome! seeing as ive never heard a cure song EVER played on the radio or tv, i cant say its overplayed at all. theres really only one thing that struck me odd about this new album... robert swore! the cover art was a very nice touch in my opinion as well, i love that little guy with the "yes" on his belly as he holds up a chainsaw!
ok, well i suppose ill list off some favorites, not in order however... they always shift
top 3 albums:
- disintigration - makes me want to love my girlfriend more.. if thats even possible
- bloodflowers - makes me depressed for some reason, very cool!
- head on the door - it has the best version of "close to me", plus a few other awesome songs
top 5 songs:
- close to me - best. song. ever. at prom they played it, and the only people that could dance to it was me and my girlfriend. it was awesome =D
- lost - its new, its origional, i can play it, therefore it rules. i really like this song
- 10:15 saturday night - always liked this song for some reason, never knew why
- there is no if... - the sound and the lyrics move me, i loves it!
- the caterpillar - its the sound, makes me feel all warm and bouncy inside.
