As one artist to another Im going to be completely honest with you. I didnt really like it. You have some really cheesy lryics. Its the lyrics and the way you sing some of them. For example "Upon the mountain side, I can close my eyes and go for a ride". Then the background singers are terrible (second verse I'm refering too). The lyrics and the way you sing them really remind me of a intro song for a childrens show. And the "dooo dooo dooo" is bad too. It just adds to the childish theme. Now if your main audience was children then maybe they may like the song. But really try to fix your lyrics and the music. Your voice isnt bad but really its not that strong. It seems really off key at a lot of the points in the song. Hope this helps you, good luck

yeah, its not a bad song. Just the way its been put together needs altered.
I agree that the dooo doo dooo doo doesn't sound good.
The line "I can close my eyes and go for a ride" also doesn't sound right, maybe just try singing it slightly differently and it will sound good.

A suggestion would be to strip the song right down to you and your guitar and just sing. See what that sounds like and don't add as much stuff over the top.
