I agree with most of your post except for the "honor" part. I don't think it's particularly honorable to inspire despair and anger.If that were the case I guess you would have to say the Ku Klux Klan deserve a badge.

true enough man, its not only his show drawing people in, just like with ozzy. ozzy has a great voice, manson has great lyrics. alice cooper just had one hell of a show

i'm with algernon on this one... the idea that manson would wear hateful violent acts as a badge of 'honor' is preposterous... last time i paid attention to him and read interviews he was about shocking the system... he wanted to be a big thorn in middle america's side... i can't think of any song that directly encouraged violent behavior... to me most seemed about prompting deviant thoughts (in comparisson to the mainstream norm)...
