In their earlier records, they could've passed for an "angry" band, but their lyrical subject matter has moved in a more philosophical direction lately...in general, their music is more introspective and bitchy than "angry"!

Today is the day has very angry vocal but if he is looking for more stuff like Brutal Truth, I would stick to the bands on my list. Although Today is the day is very good, from what i have heard by them i don't think it is too much like Brutal Truth.

I have everything by BRUTAL TRUTH, and as much as I like it... I don't think it has one tenth of the anger that Steve has raging around in his brain. The latest one "Kiss the Pig" is actually TOO ANGRY, in my opinion. He's almost lost track of melody on some of the tracks in his attempt to funnel all his rage into his music. But it depends on what folks are looking for....

EDIT: I just looked over your list, and there's some great stuff there....not necessarily the most maniacal raging music out there....but good crunchy death metal etc.

AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED and PIG DESTROYER make me laugh. I think they're kinda like joke bands. I love stuff like AC and SPAZZ... but A.N and P.D. sound to me like they're just trying too hard to be radical.... the zany samples.... the "look we do drugs! Really ! We do!" vibe... There are bands like them in every town.

I'm not a huge fan of either band. You're right about them trying too hard to be tough. THe long list i have i took off of amazon.com cause i agreed with most of the bands the guy listed there. I was just careless and kept those two their. A few songs by Pig Destroyer are good but I hate Agoraphoric nosebleed.

Pretend i never said that. I listened to some more of TODAY IS THE DAY and it is perfect for this.

Unrelated: I downloaded the songs on Uz Jsme Doma's official website. They are great(especially Usi), but of low bitrate. What exact genre are they? Anyway awesome band, and thanks for pushing them seba.
