It's good that. I keep trying to convince mike Wells to do some O2. Hopefully he will.

well, i went to the Crayon today.

after about 45 minutes of scanning the outskirts of Cleveland i was able to spot it...the infamous Bent Crayon. i walk in and there are a couple of interesting people working there who played something similar to Steve Reich on the audio.

anyhow, after browsing through some wonderful albums i finally made my decision. i was going to get the Chris Clark Ceramics EP (..yes), Quench's Punctuated (i believe originally a MiniDisc release) and Proem's Socially Inept. it was a successful journey.

in addition i saw a magazine, GROOVES-> an electronic based editorial mag. in it are interviews with several artists including Pan Sonic, reviews, and even a pic of Keef's album on n5MD!!

so there you have it.

sounds good, I could've told you that it would've been hard to find Proem's "Negativ" anywhere...and yes, Punctuated was originally on minidisc, but was in high demand, therefore they put it out on cd. How were the prices, by the way?

not bad. 12 bucks for the full releases, and for Clark's it was around 9.95. ordered some stuff off of U-Cover today too.

changed my mind from before and got--Sense-Learning to Be, Ten and Tracer-An Hour Brighter and Tim Koch's Islandtones. came to 50 some Euros alltogether with shipping. should take around 4-5 weeks...

im not disappointed with Socially Inept. the others were there, and yes, Negativ is a better balance of his styles, but i like this far out release...it's damn dark.

what im goign to pick up next time is the City Bus release.

that must be the Heofonrice 12" that features Arovane as Nedjev and Zorn (not John Zorn) as Artificial Duck Flavour. I haven't heard that release, but i have heard the Amoe/Cane 12" and it's less Arovane-ish and more ambient than anything else. Beautiful cover and I'm surprised you found it at a record store. It's not that easy to find.

Psychic Cat by Kelli Ali, it's a really cool album.
She used to be in the Sneaker Pimps but went awol for a few years but it's a really interesting and unique sound.
Has anyone heard God Speed You Black emeperor, I want to get their stuff but can't find out much about them on their website.

they are great, biggest band from the Canadian Constellation label...
my favourite record of them is probably Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven, but all their stuff is good as... other Constellation bands like A Silver Mt Zion and Do Make Say Think are also really good...
they usually call their kind of music post rock and not electronic though....
