Indeed! Nothing like a 2 am walk with your mp3/CD player to cleanse the mind.

I also pretty much listen to music all day. Mostly off the computer since that's where I am most of the time.

I listen to music a lot when I'm out driving. I find it easy to listen intently while on the road. Also, I do my share of "staring into space" listening to music. But just as much, I listen to music as a backdrop for other activities.

I listen to music any time I'm on the computer. Any time I'm in a vehicle. Any time I'm at home just living. I listen to music basically all the time.

...and by the way, I just obtained 2 Main albums "Hz" and "Tau"...gonna check them out later tonight
Cool! I've not heard "Tau", but "Hz" is pretty good, some great guitar noise looped into ambience, and some great atmospheric almost silence. Did you get "Hz" on vinyl, the packaging is worth the money alone, a great 3 LP set.

I'm listening to music in my car when I go to work, at home working at my computer, while having dinner, while making love, listening all the time 'cept when I'm asleep.

I listen to music all the time. It wakes me up in the morning when my alarm goes off. I listen to it (and dance to it) when in the shower. I usually listen to it on the way to class since I walk to class everyday. Whenever I'm in a car I listen to it too. Plus I always listen to it when I'm on the computer or just in my room in general. Like to listen to it when I'm drinking and chillin too. And when I'm ready to sleep I turn on vh1 usually and pass out listening to the videos they play late at night (no doubt is excellent for this, knocks me the hell out).

I don't see why a person can't multi task and listen to music. I mean sure its not as good as when you are solely focusing on it but who cares its still good. On another note after chillin the other night I returned to my room for the night and listened (on my home theater setup) to all of dark side of the moon in pretty much complete darkness and then both discs of zeppelin's bbc sessions. It was awesome.

I listen to music ALL the time. Right now I'm listening to Light My Fire and surfing the net and doing my homework and what not. I dance hippie style also to the music I listen to.
