Remain in Light for me.

Take a look at these hands.
The Hand speaks.
The hands of a government man.

Speaking in Tongues, though Remain in Light is virtually tied.

I find Speaking in Tongues has a similar cerebral appeal to Remain in Light, but adds an irresistable metaphysical funk groove that gives me a spiritual high. Current fave track: "Pull Up the Roots."

Remain In Light features one of the greatest opening tracks of all time. And Houses In Motion, which I love. It was my first TH album, which I'll admit might not have been totally wise. It's quite difficult to listen to if you aren't familiar with TH at all (which I wasn't)- but it's definately a grower. Now one of my favourite albums, but I really should get all their LP's before voting.

Speaking In Tonuges for me, although both Remain In Light and Fear of Music are almost as good, I opine.

Bump.

I just bought the newly released cd-The Name of the Band is The Talking Heads. First Time release on cd. Tons of live bonus trakcs (the whole album is live). A tremdous record. One of the best live recordings I've ever heard.

I already own Remain in Light and More Songs..., although both are great i enjoy Remain in Light much more. Knowing that can anyone suggest what my next Head's purchase should be?

Also, how many dvd's do they have out? i really want to see some live footage of them.

Try Fear of Music, or their debut, Talking Heads '77. For live footage, get Stop Making Sense, it should be on dvd (it's been on video for years).
