Interested? In Elvis? Not me. :-)

To the guy above who said that Elvis stole from the black:

It is a fact that there was rock and roll before Elvis, and it was (mostly) black music (Bill Haley was earlier as well). He mixed it with Hillbilly music, and created ROCKABILLY. He was a big part in the fact that blacks got more accepted. Elvis was the first white guy who sang black songs on TV. For youth it was kind of ok than to admit you thought black and white are equal. Cos Elvis admitted it too. (Don't get me wrong, it was only a small part in it. I don't say he ended discrimination!)
That in my opinion, is not really stealing from the black.

With Elvis and rockabilly, it was the first time american youth had their own culture.

No matter what you think or like, without Elvis music landscape would be completely different...

EDIT: And he was the second coming.

I said this many times before, but the worst thing to happen to DA MAN was Andreas Cornelius van Kuijk and the leeches known as the Memphis Mafia.

First known footage of him.
