I see much good music on this threads, but I can`t find some infos about alternative music in East or Central Europe, where I found much great bands. So I would like to present You polish alternative band called Usta Bilizowane (www.ustabilizowane.isos.art.pl)
You can hear them on their homepage in Media. Maibe it`s not good quality of lives files but after listening I have to say that they have something in their music what makes me listen and listen.
