Ok, so where exactly do you post about bands in that genre. Definitely not metal(the people who listen to metal and hardcore are pretty different crowds), but punk too dosen't fit. So...

punk lyrics are whiney teen angst shit because they cant go to the concert because they didnt do their homework cause they where too busy banging some groupie who only "loves" him because he can play G minor on guitar. she has big boobs too.

My opinion on hardcore is about the same as Beegirl's.
One thing I hate about hardcore is the fact that somewhere in the 'code of hardcore' it is written that: "One must not make a song which spans over 3 mintues in length. However, one must release an entire album lasting 30+ mintues, in which every song must sound exactly the same."

I like HC Punk persay a lot, that doesnt sound the same in my mind although most HC does, which is why most HC sucks, there are a lot of good bands out there though. I like a lot of HC Punk because it's simply more heavy ex. Tragedy, From Ashes Rise, etc. It's just fun sometimes ya know? HC being metal with punk lyrics? That's a little bit of a stretch...I wouldn't necissarily say that...anyways, this is your brain on a concussion....cheers!

There are some decent bands in hardcore too like Misery Signals, Hopesfall(well the one album I heard), Horse the Band, Ion Dissonance, Envy, Sigh, Codeseven... and who can forget Cave In.

Yes, yes of course, there are some goodies here and there. But most of it is unoriginal, uninspired, flat crap.
