I am amazed that just about everyone on this forum is closed to hardcore(except ihateyou who has stopped posting now). I'd though that this was one of the more tolerant forums.

I'm afriad I don't really understand your post... The only person to fully denoucne Hardcore here was teh b34r. That hardly qualifies as most of the forum.

I think that over the years hardcore has changed. 15-20 years ago hardcore was like ultra fast agressive punk. These days hardcore has more metal influence than punk with detuned guitars and almost death metal vocals. I much prefer the early hardcore, if I want to listen to metal I will listen to proper metal.
You do pose a good question though, where to post about hardcore bands. I would guess the punk forum would be more appropriate than the metal section. It is where hardcore has it roots.

Agreed. I much more prefer old hardcore. I feel just as you do about 90% of the stuff these days, if I want to listen to metal, I'll listen to some real metal.

i can spew out a TON of HC bands that I personally like a whole lot. I'll be honest and say I like a lot of HC, I like more Punk however.

While were on the subject, anyone heard of Blood for Blood?
