Small stereo

Since I'm going to college next year I need to buy a new stereo (My Sony 51 cd changer and all it's speakers would just not be practical for dorm life). I've decided I want something compact but that still sounds good. I've still got a good amount of time left so I was wondering if anyone had any advice on a good system that would be good for dorm life.

I have a compact stereo wich I`m very happy with, the 5x cd changer is very useful. I wrote some more about it here http://www.radiomute.com/showpost.ph...6&postcount=22

it doesn't look like panasonic makes that model anymore. Heres the list of ones they have now, which was closest to yours in terms of price?

It must be the SC-PM 28, looks like it and at the same price. I can`t see the watt of it though, it should be about 60.

Thanks for your help Haakon, I've been happy with other electronics by Panasonic so I'll be sure to look into this.

If you want another input check out the Panosonic SK-AK510. It works great, 360w enough to wake up your neighbors. Also comes with 5x CD changer I think it's around $260, you can pick it up at walmart. If you have a little extra cash it's worth it.
