Psychedelic Floorfillers ?

-

Because i always loved music which is danceable i am always searching for music pearls
that have this grooving drive for a floorfiller. so what about the psychedelic genre?
Any suggestion?
Tracks like STRAWBERRY ALARM CLOCK - INCENSE AND PEPPERMINTS for example are psychedelic and of course they rock the dancefloor.
Would be interesting to hear your opinion ...

Really, the psychedelic era was when people stopped dancing and started digging the words, or just trippin' out on the music. So there's not really as much great dance music from that era as from others...

But here's one more, an obvious choice:

"Dance To The Music" by Sly and the Family Stone

If you can't dance, you can always act silly

"A House for Everyone" by Traffic I dance to everytime I hear it, although my girlfriend says it's not dancing but behaving like a village drunk.

"Frantic Desolation" by Sopwith Camel is great for partying.

"This calls for a celebration" by The Fantastic Zoo anyone?

"Skeleton and the Roundabout" by The Idle Race?

"Try me on for size" by The Electric Prunes...

I don't think you can dance in a traditional way to this kinda music, let's call it personal expression

Long Title: Do I Have to Do This All Over Again by the Monkees

Break It All by Los Shakers (found on Nuggets II

Also the Lovin' Spoonful song from the movie Your a Big Boy Now. I can't recall it at the moment, but I remember it was pretty groovey. (i mean that literally, not as in the slang)
