I think the killers are pretty good.
The one complaint I have is that listening through their cd straight can be rather boring. I wish they diversified their album more.

Couldn't agree more. Like Muse, thier music should be taken in small doses... or not at all.

The only radio stations I listen to are old rock stations, and thats only if the car I'm in doesn't have a CD player. Sure The Killers are a little showy, but they're from Las Vegas. What would you expect?

I've only heard the single, but your right it does seem like a cheap attempt to "reserect the 80s", just like they were trying to make hanson the "new nirvana"

The song they play on the radio is like a guilty pleasure song for me. I'd never buy the album, and I'm sort of embarassed admitting that I like anything about it. so... don't tell anyone please.

I just checked this band out and all i can say is mediocre. it's not terrible, but i would never buy the album. I was also disappointed after reading this thread and then hearing them.

mr. flowers is a sexy beast. i think its the eyeliner/blush? i dunno. the new moulin rouge vid to brightside is the rock as well.
