I might see Dillinger Escape Plan with my girlfriend in November, but I really want to go see Converge.

I'll be going to see Brian Wilson's SMiLE in Atlanta on October 16. I'm jazzed. The new album is incredible, and getting unprecedentedly rave reviews across the U.S. and Europe.

I got tickets for the 12th & 13 at Carnegie Hall, which means I get to see him before you.

I had to spread it out over both nights to find enough tickets for 20 and not have them be singles.

It was a pain in the backside to arrange everything and that is being extremely mild!

It's my belief that all ticket brokers should be put through Chinese water torture at the very least.

The things we go through for our families.

At least the wife was able to work some of her black magic, and make it possible to write off a portion of it.

So you have a wife who can do that kind of magic too...

Well, I'm really thrilled that you're going to experience it. I do envy you just a bit getting to see the Carnegie Hall gig. That's a guarenteed legendary concert, to be sure.

The critical reaction to this album and tour is approaching unprecedented levels, actually. It's really a cool thing to watch unfold. I'm just so happy for Brian Wilson. He suffered so much for this work, and to see it becoming a runaway success after all these years must be such a vindicating and healing thing for him.

Are Reverends allowed to have a Black Magic Woman?

The wife worked for the Dark Side for 7 years. Now she works her Black Magic to help slow down and if possible conquer the Dark Side.
