All my hopes of seeing phish this summer have been shattered, tickets for Coventry are goin for $500+ on Ebay, i cant afford that right now. I guess i'll wait for the reunion tour....

Update: I wont have to wait for the reunion tour. Today at 10 am ticket sales began online for a show at Hamptons VA, it took me over an hour to get my order in, but i finally have secured myself two tix to the second to last Phish show ever.

My friend put his order in at 11:30 and they were all sold out, i figured they would sell out quick, but in and hour and a half?

Um...I saw Primus earlier this year in their Tour de Fromage tour, and I saw Buckethead 2 weeks ago in Cincinatti. I'm looking forward to seeing Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains...I MUST get tickets when they release tour dates for this year.

Well. I WAS looking forward to seeing Blonde Redhead this Friday but they've decided to be assholes and cancel the tour due to "the pressure of an intense European workload" or some shit. What I don't understand is why they committed to tour Australia in the first place? False hopes and broken dreams yada yada and all that? They were like the light at the end of the tunnel for me (for a while at least) since Papa M decided to cancel a month ago (due to Dave Pajo falling ill - but that's forgiveable...) Blah.

Skinny Puppy was pretty dead for a while. Then they played for the first time in Texas in 12 years. I was there. Best show ever.

The Cure is coming in about a week. I'll be in the pit for that one. That will be heaven for me.

Ministry and the Thrill Kill Kult are coming as well in a month or two. As are the Cramps. Those will all be fun shows.

Seen lots of shows this summer. The last one I saw was the Walkmen. They were pretty good. My favorite show of the summer, though, was Lars Fredrickson and the Bastards with the Briefs opening. The Briefs rock! And I'm going to see the Stiff Little Fingers on friday.

Saw Tortoise, The Ex-Models, and Beans earlier in the year. Loved every second of it, other than the 4-5 hour place I was standing. Back hurt for days.

I saw the bastards this summer as well. They sucked. And yes the Briefs are good.

I'm also seeing Stiff Little Fingers on Thursday. That, however, will definately not be the best show I've seen.

Little Charlie and the Nightcats/ Candye Kane! Everyone loves fat bisexual self-proclaimed ex-porn star actresses who try to sing cabaret numbers! Yeah!
