Last show I saw was Skinny Puppy, as part of the smallest audience they've probably ever played to.

Next up is a bit more

Motorhead!

Lucky you... I wanted to go, but I didn't make it in the end.
What bands did you see?

I saw Modest Mouse recently and I'm going to see Interpol. Unfortunately, I could see Dave Brubeck but he's playing at my school the same night that Interpol is playing and I already have tickets

Jim O'Rourke, Circle, and Merzbow next Tuesday (which also happens to be my first day of school) at the Knitting Factory, Acid Mothers Temple in October, and Bauhaus in November .

I could mention some local bands that have blown my mind recently (bands like: fun100, Elizabeth, The Furios, Life Without Water and I'm going to a Pink Mountaintops show tomorrow) but that would be kinda pointless. I've got tickets to system of a down on the 17th and im considering going to Meshuggah...

That's not bad; at least you are going to one (although I'd go to Brubeck far before Interpol, myself). I have to miss the Niyaz show to go to a going away party

I just saw Pearl Jam last night...er...great singer!! As if you all didn't know that. Lead player? Well...his solos are all about the same...same sounding notes and same sort of structure...same riffs...I am sure he could have just played the same solo in every song and it wouldn't have been much different than it was...but then again...Pearl Jam was never known for the 'great lead playing'. If he writes some of the music as well then I'll give him a pass but if all he does is play the leads then he is useless. Whichever applies. Good show though all things considered. The crowd was VERY into it and the Saddledome was packed to the rafters.
