Murcof "Utopia" album

Lovely new album of the 2 songs from last years "ulysses" 12" on Leaf with 2 more new songs and 7 remixes of various tracks. Jan Jelinek, Deathprod, Colleen, Icarus, Geoff White, Fax, and Sutekh. Love the minimal beat and ambient structure to each song. It's dark at times but is fluid all the way through. I adore it.

Not to diss the other artists but none of the remixes match up to mr. Fernandos tracks on that album. Once you've heard Ulysses as the opening track you just get dissapointed with the remixes following it.

I actually agree with you there...I bought the 12" last year (ulysses) and included it in my top 10 of the year. I absolutely love it, and now i'm glad it's in cd form.
