In 2002 i acquired this compilation mp3 cd of sorts filled with songs. One of the albums i remember had a female jazz vocal, it was upbeat/happy, the singer seemed pretty young. Unfortunately it's been a long time since i've thought about it. And when i did i couldn't remember who the singer is anymore~! I seems to remember one of the songs, or lyrics contained something like, "sunny" "day" "hotel". I've tried the net search engines and no luck : P

As for the year, i think it should be around 1997~1998.
I was located in Singapore/Malaysia at the time if that helps any. A schoolchum had given me that cd and i remember she told me the songs were recent and good. Shania Twain's album "Come On Over" was on it too.

I'd appreciate any help i can get. I've looked around the forums and already it has expanded my musical tastes already, it's good to be here.
