Carl Cox/Ned Flanders

No big reason to tell anyone really, but I've just read that Carl Cox is moving in up the road (5-10 mins). I've not heard a heap of his stuff, but it's unusual for such a huge name to grace our meagre shores, let alone move here... (south of Melbourne, Australia BTW)

Might look exotic, but suburbia is boring everywhere... so you can have my house and I'll mow your lawns

Melbourne has one of the best breaks scenes anywhere.

Is he a breaks DJ? I always thought he was techno... but yeah, NuBreed and a few others are doing pretty good right now.

Well techno is quite a broad term. Most people who hear Breaks would class it as techno.
I don't think he is breaks, I know he never used to be, unless he has crossed over like many of the other UK DJ's have. I was just saying that the dance music scene in melboure (esp breaks) is awesome.
