ever heard of it??
I was recently in a local guitar shop and I happened to stumble upon a Gibson SG that was gunmetal-black, and it had a huge X carved in the body then all of the position markers were white X's. It was really neat, and I wish I had the money for it, but has anyone heard of it, do you know what year it was made, or what model it is?

Never really heard of it. But I did see that guitar at the guitar shop one day, it was pretty cool.

It might have been a custom. Its not too hard to make a new fretboard for a guitar, and bodywork is a sinch.
