Melonius Thunk I agree with Blind Melon being a very underrated band, also I think Mudhoney is underrated they don't get the recognition they deserve imo.

Samoan Joe's Barman: You want a pint, you go to the pub.
Bacon: I thought this was a pub!
Samoan Joes Barman: It's a Samoan pub.

say it with me.... sarcasm.... SARRRRcasm

and i'll argue that STP was far more overrated than the chilis ever were when both groups were active.

The Birthday Party! Too many people are into Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds that haven't listened to The Birthday Party imo.

Estradasphere, maybe? I'm not sure, I never remember hearing about them around here, and Radiomute is where I've discovered some of my current favorite bands (i.e. Mr. Bungle). I hunted them out on a "sounds like..." section of Amazon. I love them.

Why don't you reach down in my pocket and see what it is
Then grab onto it, it's just for you
Give a little squeeze and say, "How do you do?"

chiron talked about estradasphere a bit. i've listened to buck fever a few times and just couldn't get into them. they're on trey spruance's label but i'd still rather listen to secret chiefs 3.

I can't really decide between Secret Chiefs 3 or Estradasphere as far as a favorite right now. I got Buck Fever first, and It's Understood and Passion for Life came the same day, and those two really got me into them, mostly because Passion for Life is a cd/dvd, watching them is a blast.
