Compare & Contrast: Spontaneous Music Ensemble's Summer 67 & Face To Face

Hello all,

Please discuss about the two SME albums. Why I create a compare & contrast because they are very similar & different. Both consist of a duo(except two tracks on Summer 67, is also consists of a bass player), use the same instrumentations: sax & percussion. Also, discuss your preferences.

I'll elaborate later.

I prefer Face to Face. Summer 1967 is more of a historic recording. Since it's one of Evan Parker's earliest recordings, as well his and John Steven's first recordings with Peter Kowald.
